High School Programs

Our various High School Programs provide teens a safe place to belong and explore opportunities to help them grow and build skills for their future.

Our programs are for Club members only. If your child is not yet a member, you can still sign them up for the program using our online forms and we will reach out to assist you in registering for a membership.

UpNext

Dates: 

  • Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays following the Bangor School Department Calendar

    • Quarter One: September 1st-October 30th​

    • Quarter Two: November 2nd-January 22nd

    • Quarter Three: January 25th-April 2nd

    • Quarter Four: April 5th-June 10th

UpNext, or Work-Based Learning, is a program that provides teens with hands-on first job experience working in the Club. Participants get trained in Youth Worker Rights, Safe Work Environments, Child Abuse Prevention, Mentorship, and more while being introduced to different skills needed in a childcare setting, all while being paid on a stipend.

This program is run quarterly.

Keystone

Keystone is designed to help teens discover their unique leadership strengths. By joining, members will connect with like-minded teens, learn valuable leadership skills, and gain hands-on experience through community service projects and other activities. Whether participants are natural-born leaders or just starting to explore their potential, Keystone will help teens develop the confidence and skills they need to succeed.

  • Mondays following the Bangor School Department Calendar during Quarter One

Hours: 

  • 6:00 - 7:30pm

Esports

While our Esports program is still in its infancy, we are building teams and challenges using all our gaming equipment. We have a Nintendo Switch with Super Smash Bros, Mario Kart, and Switch Sports, Laptops and iPads with online gaming, and a Wii U system with plenty of game options

  • Wednesdays and Thursdays following the Bangor School Department Calendar during Quarter One

Hours: 

  • 6:00 - 7:30pm

Open Gym

Open Gym is free time for teens to use our gym and equipment to play with friends and grow skills.

Dates: 

  • Fridays following the Bangor School Department Calendar during Quarter One

Hours: 

  • 6:00 - 7:30pm

Study Hall

Study Hall provides teens with a quiet space, access to Internet, computers, printers, and any help they might need to complete assignments or have personal time to work.

Dates: 

  • Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays following the Bangor School Department Calendar during Quarter One

Hours: 

  • 5:15 - 6:00pm

Theatre

Theatre programs are offered in collaboration with The Lace Theatre Company. For more information about the program and how to sign up for the upcoming fall show, please visit their website below.
